About Hawes Side Nursery in Blackpool
Hawes Side Nursery is located off Highfield Road in the South Shore area of Blackpool. Our purposed built nursery is situated in the grounds of Hawes Side Primary school and provides a spacious environment to learn through play.
Hawes Side Nursery, which was established in 2007 and features a Baby Unit for children aged 3 months to 2 years, a separate room for 2-3 year olds and a pre-school unit for 3-5 year olds.
Our secure playground features plenty of opportunities for children to play and learn social development skills.
At Hawes Side Nursery our emphasis is on unrestricted play and exploration
During your child’s time at Hawes Side they will be cared for by a team of qualified Nursery Nurses who have each been trained to a very high standard.
Each child is allocated a Key Worker who will provide care and support to them during their time in each room, giving them stability and reassurance and giving parents confidence in the care their child will receive. Each room within the Nursery has a specially trained coordinator to oversee all areas of development and organisation.
Our aim is to provide your child with valuable experiences and opportunities to explore their environment and develop to their full potential. We firmly believe that children learn best when they are unaware they are being ‘taught’, which is why our planning of activities focuses on ‘hands on’ learning.
